This was a special meeting of the Cross Plains City Council.  Members of the council present were Mayor Ray Purvis, Audrey Purvis, Jerry Cassle & Peg Terrell. 

Employees present were Debbie Gosnell. 

Mayor Purvis called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.   

The purpose of the meeting was to canvass the votes of the May 9, 2009 Council election.  Results were as follows: 

Councilman –

Lewis Fortune             95  Votes

Karen Lenz                 105Votes

Terry Lichty                62  Votes

Gerald Brown             18  Votes

Henry Ring                 22 Votes

James Nichols             34  Votes

Peg Terrell                   95  Votes

Homer Parson             72  Votes

Audrey Purvis moved to accept the canvass as presented.  Jerry Cassle seconded and motion carried. 

Audrey Purvis moved to adjourn.  Peg Terrell seconded and motion carried.
